One of the most influential of 20th century architects, Chareli-Edouard Jeanneret, who chose to be know as "Le Corbusier”, was also responsible for some of the Modern Movements best-known furniture. In this category are his classics known as LC2 and LC3 Ottoman We use high gauge tubular stainless steel on each frame. The frame is polished to a mirror-like finish with mitered frame corners ground to a soft radius. Besides the polished frame, we also offer 4 colors of metallic powder coated finishes, or choose your own! We use top-grain, aniline-dyed leather on all visible cushion surfaces. Inside each cushion is high density, HR (High Resilient), Multi-Density polyurethane foam surrounded by Dacron batting. On the LC2 seat cushion, there is a layer of goose down/feathers on the seat top. On the LC3, the seat cushion has an extra layer of Dacron fiberfill. The LC3-relaxed uses both foam and goose down/feathers on the seat cushions.

Hi Curt, I've been meaning to write you. We like the chairs but there is a problem. The cushion fronts don't have enough padding inside and look very wrinkled which is visually upsetting. I'm thinking I may have to take them to an upholstered and have them wrap the foam cushion to make the leather have a tighter fit. I shouldn't have to do this, they should have come properly fitted.

The replica of Corbu's LC2 Petite Club Chair is just right. It's a chair that is petite but that gives one a feel of being snug. It's relatively new so not much time and use has passed by, but it seems to be holding up just fine. I actually look forward to the leather and cushion relaxing a bit.
Modern Classic folks were wonderful to work with. And the chair delivered when they scheduled it.
The packing was completely protective and it took a while to undo it all!
A chair I longed for but couldn't afford the original one, but this one makes me very happy!

I ordered feathers for the seat cushion and foam for the back of the chair. Foam is a lot firmer than feather and one feels that. In retrospect, I would have ordered feathers for both or foam for both. I also would have liked the seat to be more packed with feathers than it was. I love the leather cover, and the service and delivery were great.
