In comparing our Noguchi Free-Form style coffee table and the Noguchi Coffee Table that Herman Miller (HM) makes, there are four differences we found; but most people don't notice these, nor do they mind saving about $2,000 per table:
- Our base wood is Ash not Walnut like the official version (but the finish colors match);
- There is a very slight visual difference in the way we carve the edge of our base, if you look closely;
- Our base is about 3/4 inch longer than the signature version (but our table heights match); and
- We don't have the Noguchi signature on the edge of the glass.
When comparing our replica with the other replicas on the market., the differences are very stark, which is why we recommend our table over all the others. We made this chart showing some of the highlights:
