Our PK80 matches the dimensions of the original design and incorporates virtually all of the construction techniques employed by Kjaerholm when designing this work. Using brushed-satin stainless for the legs and support, a thin sheet of MDF plywood painted black and sealed with a lacquer finish, using rubber O-rings to connect the plywood sheet to the leg frame, and also Velcro to keep the mattress in place (an improvement obviously not available to Kjaerholm). This iconic piece worthy of museums is certainly one that would look fantastic in today"s modern setting.

Please note, for greater seat comfort, we are now making our version of the PK80 with a 3" taller seat height than the official version. This achieved by increasing the length of the legs. If you would prefer the standard seat height of 12.75 inches, you will have to purchase a non-quickship product and then let us know when you place your order.
