Part of the Platner Collection, our Wire Frame Lounge Chair Fully Upholstered version is inspired by Platner’s designs from 1966 is an elegant addition to your living room. This iconic piece features steel rods to form the curved chair base, with a leather seat and backrest.

Our version of the Platner Lounge Chair features leather wrapped foam seat cushion and back on a sculptural base of stainless steel rods. The rods are polished to a medium shiny finish. This chair is wider than the dining chair and has a more lounging feel to it, rather than a sit-up-straight vibe like the dining chair.

Our Smooth leathers are top-grain, aniline-dyed, have a soft feel to them and retains the hides natural grain patterns. Our Distressed Leathers (denoted with the prefix L5) are also top-grain, aniline-dyed but have a distressed look to them. L5 leathers will show rubbings and have a more waxy feel. Each of the these groupings feature:

  • Semi aniline-dyed
