Modern Classics Furniture has a long history of making Mid-Century Modern Furniture for a variety of applications and locations. In the followowing pages, we have highlighted some of our best projects, including commericial projects such as museums, condominiums, hotels, universities, retail stores, and office lobbies. Many of these projects selected products from our standard product line. However, in a nuber of cases, they asked us to use upholstery materials and metal colors specifically for them. The creative staff at Avalanche Ranch have taken on some extreme custom lighting challenges. We can take a simple sketch and turn it into a finished light, usually within 4 weeks. Our best work are found in the Hotel Chaco, the Sandia Resort and Casino, the Great Wolf Lodge, Seven Feathers Resot and Casino and the Cape Kiwanda Inn, to name a few.
In many ways, Modern Classics Furniture owes it's existence to some of the rustic lighting for restaurant projects we have worked on in the beginning of the company's life. Two of the earliest lights were designed for a restaurant: the possession point pendant and the Cozy Log Cabin. Decorative lighting for restaurants is essential to coordinate the themes associated with the restaurant decor. Our rustic lodge collection is as perfect fit for the pizza joints, steakhouses, bars - places where casual dining is the look.
Providing rustic lighting for coffee shops has been a strong speciality of Avalanche Ranch. Whether it is incorporating a coffee shop logo into the lighting, creating a new design or using one of many rustic wall sconces we already make, having a cup a joe in a warm, northwoods atmosphere is pretty awesome… [...]
